As a service to our Michiana AA Community we are making this page available as a source of information regarding
various service opportunities within the community. If you would like to volunteer, click on the link below to send an email.

the person responsible for the service activity, and that person will contact you directly.

Opportunity	Description and Information
AA Meetings in Correctional Facilities: Westville; 2nd Saturday of each month. Must attend an orientation in the Spring. County Jail; Sunday 1:00 PM and Tuesday 7:00 PM Orientation also required. Work Release; Sunday 6:00 PM Women-County Jail; Daytime, Details Pending.	There is an AA member responsible for interacting with the correctional facilities in our area. There are opportunities for men and women. A clean record is required at most facilities and a background check may be done.
AA Twelve Step Call List	The Central Service Office maintains a list of AAs willing to make 12 step calls to people who have called in.
Car Rides	AA is not a taxi service. However, there are a considerable number of newcomers who legitimately need rides to meetings. Who knows, you may end up being someone's sponsor!
AA Meeting at Juvenile Detention Center	This is a new meeting on Thursday nights from 7:30-8:30 called "Young People's Slow Steps". Any AA can attend and should go to the East Entrance.
